The ARMES Abrasive Articles Plant is established. The company's founder decides to take advantage of the opportunities of the rapidly developing free market in Poland to combines it with his entrepreneurial flair, his education and technical skills having some modest savings. The first product made in his own kitchen was a cloth flap wheel , which continues to lead the way after 30 years in our product range. However, it is now produced in an automated process using self-designed and self-made machines.
"Garage" production is gaining momentum as the crew expands to 11 people, investment in machinery park increases and has more space in the new location ( Handlowa Street, Stalowa Wola)
The administrative part of the company is enlarged and a separate office space is created (Wojska Polskiego Street, Stalowa Wola).
The cooperation agreement with Starcke GmgH & Co.KG of which we became the representative in Poland, gave rise to the company's vision to which we are still faithful today - the production of tools of the highest quality based on the raw materials from top brands.
Years of hard work and key investments. On the first land purchased for ownership, 4 production and storage halls and an office building are built. We invest in the development of the machinery park and our Staff number doubles. This is a time to meet with suppliers and contractors and participate in numerous trade fairs and tap the potential of our business. ARMES enters international markets.
We put into practice our next development plans - the purchase of 17 hectares of land with buildings after the former Meat Plant in Nisk is another space where we develop production and increase warehouses to provide our customers with the highest level of service and availability of goods.
We are creating a division - ARMES Mechanical Plant. It reinforces the foundation on which the company was founded - machine building from conceptual thinking into implementation. The team of designers, automation engineers and technologists is working on production optimization and automation. This is a huge step in our goal strenghtening, namely independence and adaptation to customer needs to keep high standards.
The Mechanical Plant enlarges our group of customers in the area of machining producing at the same time necessary parts for machine building and tooling development. We creates our own team for machinery servicing. A task-oriented approach backed by our own extensive facilities results in the ability to implement new materials and products into the offer.
The second generation starts working for the company - 2 daughters join company management.
We focus on computerization through the implementation of ERP systems so the circulation of information becomes faster and data is available to particular departments.
Signing cooperation contract with 3M. ARMES becomes the official distributor and conventer of 3M products. 3M is a company representing a wide variety of technical fields with worldwide production and sale activities across five business groups: Healthcare, Consumer Products, Safety and Advertising Graphics, Industry (including abrasives tools, tapes and adhesives), Electronics and Energy.
We specialize in the sale of products: Abrasives, Industrial Tapes and Adhesives, Health and Safety,
Vehicle Body Servicing and Maintenance Painting.
We are moving the entire administrative and shipping parts as well as most of the warehouse to a location on Sandomierska Boczna Street.
