Stainless steel as a group of metal with special chemical parameters which, as the name suggests, is resistant to corrosion caused by atmospheric agents (gas corrosion), dilute acids or alkaline solutions (corrosion in liquids). It is covered with a thin passivation coating made up of various oxides (e.g., boron-nickel, chrome-nickel coating). It is responsible for protecting stainless steel from corrosive agents. The passive layer is formed on the surface of stainless steel tightly adhering to it-it is transparent, thin and covers the entire element. For this reason, stainless steel has been widely used in industrial containers, installations and constructions.
Stainless steel structures and installations are not only aesthetic but also meet the highest standards of safety and durability. They enjoy a growing reputation in various fields from construction to the food industry and has become synonym for durability and aesthetics. It is a material that combines solidity with elegance, withstands the most difficult atmospheric conditions, and is the ideal solution for both buildings located in areas with heavy rainfall and in areas with extremely high temperatures.
STAINLESS STEEL
Grinding stainless steel requires use of specialized products free of iron particle contamination and free of chloride ions. That is why pure sulfur or chlorine are used.
In typical discs for cutting or grinding metal aluminium oxide can contain up to 5% of various compounds such as iron, sulfur, chlorine or titanium.
Our abrasive tools range for stainless steel includes belts, sleeves, non-woven rolls, cut off wheel INOX and flap discs.
